His commitment to student welfare is reflected in his role as Chief of the University Anti-Ragging Squad (2009-2014) and Chief Proctor during the same period. Additionally, Prof. Saklani served as the Center for Folk & Performing Art Coordinator from 2021 to February 2022, promoting the integration of cultural studies into academic curricula.
